Yes, you can build a cheaper chicken coop than what you see in the picture above. But for this project, I decided to build a functional chicken coop that could also be attractive and a focal point to any backyard.

Guidelines
For this particular chicken coop, the footprint is 4’x4′, and 53 1/2″ tall. The distance between the top of the 2×4’s on each side of the A-Frame is 5 1/2″. The angle of the A-Frame was 69 degrees.
